Odoo in Madrid: Implementation, Consulting, and Time Tracking with a Local Team
If your company is based in Madrid and you're looking to implement or improve your ERP, having an Odoo partner with an office in the city makes all the difference between a project that falls short and one that truly transforms your operations. In Dynapps We have our own office in Madrid and work with companies in the region that need a system tailored to their actual business operations—not a generic template imported from another industry.
What to Look for in an Odoo Partner
Not all Odoo partners offer the same guarantees. Before making your choice, make sure your partner has official Odoo certification (and isn’t just a reseller without direct access to the manufacturer), real-world experience in your industry, the ability to provide hands-on support in Spanish, and knowledge of Spanish tax, labor, and accounting regulations. A partner who merely installs modules without understanding your day-to-day operations often leaves implementations half-finished, which your team ends up not using.
Dynapps, your Odoo partner in Madrid
Dynapps has its own office in Madrid, as part of a network that also covers Valencia (headquarters), Barcelona, Alicante, Murcia, and other Spanish cities. This allows us to combine the personalized service of a local team with the reliability of an official Odoo partner with projects throughout Spain. We are also a recognized Digitalization Agent for the Digital Kit, so we can help you with both the technical aspects of implementation and the financing of your project.
Sectors in which we already operate in Madrid
We have firsthand knowledge of Madrid’s business landscape: retail and specialty food, with businesses that manage multiple brick-and-mortar stores and online sales simultaneously; professional services and consulting; and companies headquartered in Madrid that coordinate operations across multiple locations or franchises. Each of these business models has processes that are very different from those of an industrial or logistics company, and we adapt Odoo’s modules (sales, multi-store inventory, accounting, e-commerce) to that specific reality.
Success Story: Espacio Orgánico
Organic Space It is a family-owned business based in Madrid, founded in 2012, specializing in organic food, with two brick-and-mortar stores (Alcobendas and Majadahonda) and an online store. Before working with Dynapps, product transfers between stores relied on a single person handling them manually, and purchasing decisions were made based on intuition rather than actual sales data, and this led to both stockouts and excesses of perishable goods, as well as an excessive administrative burden in managing orders and suppliers.
Andrea Martín, Senior Project Manager at Dynapps, led the implementation: We implemented sales and purchasing, inventory management with distribution across stores and supplier traceability, full accounting, integrated e-commerce, and a point-of-sale replenishment system based on minimum and maximum levels—all using standard Odoo without any additional customizations. The project began in December 2024 and went live in July 2025. The client’s shift in mindset sums it up well: they went from asking, “Can we manage another store?” to “How soon can we open it?”
As Nacho, the manager of Espacio Orgánico, puts it: "Odoo doesn't excel at anything in particular, but it's the best at everything."
Time Tracking in Odoo: Stay Compliant Without the Hassle
Since 2019 (Royal Decree-Law 8/2019), all companies in Spain are required to maintain a reliable time record for their workforce that is accessible to employees, their representatives, and the Labor Inspectorate, and must be retained for at least 4 years. Currently, this record can still be kept on paper, in Excel, or digitally, but a reform is pending that would tighten the requirements: digital records, automatic time stamping, data immutability, and real-time remote access for the Labor Inspectorate. As of today, that reform is still in progress (the Council of State issued its observations in March 2026, and a new review process was announced for September 2026), with no confirmed effective date—but it’s best to be prepared.
Odoo’s Time and Attendance module already addresses this more demanding scenario: individual clock-in via PIN, card, or facial recognition; kiosk mode on a tablet for stores or offices; automatic time stamping with traceability for any modifications; access for each employee to their own history; exportable reports for the Labor Inspectorate, and direct integration with payroll and shift scheduling. If you already use Odoo for sales or accounting, enabling Time and Attendance is a natural extension of the same system, without adding yet another tool to your team’s daily workflow.
Everything we do as your Odoo partner
We cover the entire lifecycle of your ERP: initial consulting to define the scope of the project, implementation and configuration of the modules you need, data migration from your current system, training for your team, and ongoing support and development once the system is up and running. We also help companies that already have Odoo installed by another provider but are struggling with poor configuration or low adoption by the team, by conducting an audit that identifies the root cause of the problem before proposing a solution.
How We Work With You
We start with a free consultation to understand your current situation and your business goals. From there, we’ll propose a work plan with clear phases and deadlines, and a single point of contact throughout the project. We combine in-person sessions in Madrid (initial assessment, team training) with agile remote work for day-to-day tasks, so you can move forward quickly without losing that personal touch.
Frequently Asked Questions About Our Odoo Partner Service in Madrid
Do you have an office in Madrid, or do you work entirely remotely?
We have our own office in Madrid, as part of Dynapps’ network of offices in Spain. We prefer to conduct the initial assessment and team training in person, as this helps us identify needs that don’t always come up during a video call; we manage the rest of the project and day-to-day support remotely to ensure greater agility. You always have a direct point of contact—not an impersonal ticket system.
Does Odoo's time tracking system already comply with current law?
Yes. The Time Tracking module meets the requirements in effect since 2019 (reliable records, accessible to employees and labor inspectors, and a 4-year retention period) and already includes features such as automatic stamping and change tracking, designed to ensure a smooth transition once the reform tightening the regulations is confirmed.
Are you an official Odoo partner?
Yes, we are an official Odoo-certified partner, not a third-party reseller. We have direct access to software updates and new versions; we always work with the original version of Odoo; and we have access to advanced technical support and up-to-date documentation directly from the manufacturer. This results in a more stable implementation and an ERP system that doesn’t depend on a single developer or become outdated.
Can you help me if I already have Odoo but with a different partner?
Yes, this is a common situation. We start by auditing the current system: which modules are active, how your team uses them on a day-to-day basis, and what the root cause of the problems is—which is almost always a poorly planned initial configuration or insufficient training. From there, we propose a tailored solution—ranging from specific adjustments to a more comprehensive project overhaul—without losing the data you already have in Odoo.
